Mission

The mission of the Department of Health Promotion and Education is to discover, refine, and facilitate the practical application of strategies that can assist individuals, communities, and societies in adopting and maintaining healthy lifestyles.

The faculty is committed to the integration of teaching, research, and service into an inclusive process of planning, implementing, and evaluating successful health education policies, environs, and practices. Our focus is on community and family based positive health promotion and education.
