The College of Health

Student Advisory Committees (SAC)

Each department and division in the College of Health offers students the opportunity to participate in Student Advisory Committees (SACs). SACs are student groups established within each department/division to promote communication and interaction among students, faculty, staff, and administrators. The SACs were created to provide students with more opportunities for input at the department/division level. In addition, SACs play a critical role in the Faculty Retention, Promotion, and Tenure (RPT) process. SACs are both a social and an academic organization within each department/division, and as such they advance involvement opportunities, encourage participation in unit activities, and create a working environment that builds the campus community.
