Muscle Activity
Muscle electric activity is measured using an 8 channel Bortec Biomedical EMG measurement system. The Bortec EMG system has pre-amplified surface electrodes for an improved signal to noise ratio.
Ground Reaction Forces
Forces and moments from any associated ground reaction tests are measured using AMTI MSA-6 Biomechanics Platform with custom built adjustable flooring.
3D Motion
Motion (3 dimensional positions and angles) is measured with Vicon motion analysis system, using Vicon MCam technology. Six Mcam cameras, each capable of 1 Mega Pixel resolution at a 250 Hz frame rate, provide substantial motion capture capabilities.
