Master of Philosophy Program
The Master of Philosophy Degree is a third degree option within the Department of Parks, Recreation, and Tourism and is intended to meet the needs of individuals who have an interest in pursuing graduate study beyond the Master of Science degree but who do not wish to complete dissertation research.
In completing a Master of Philosophy degree, the student may choose to follow either the PhD or the EdD program.With the exception of the dissertation, all requirements and procedures within the doctoral programs apply to the Master of Philosophy degree.
