Occupational History

Kelly was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point with a double major in German and International Studies and a minor in Russian.  After graduating, she worked for Siemens Power Corporation, a German based, gas turbine manufacturer.  In 1999, she and her husband moved to Salt Lake City, where her husband was accepted to graduate school.  Of all the jobs she applied for in Salt Lake, she was fortunate to have found the Division of Occupational Therapy at the University of Utah.  She’s been here ever since and has loved every day of it.

Kelly has fallen in love with the diverse landscape of Utah but still misses the corn fields, lakes and rolling hills of Wisconsin.  She was a volunteer for the 2002 Olympics when she was 2 months pregnant with her first daughter.  Her second daughter came along in 2005.
