Regulation and Evaluation of Dietary Supplements Nutrition Minor
The Division of Nutrition at the University of Utah offers a Regulation and Evaluation of Dietary Supplements Nutrition Minor. A registration form is required.
Admission Requirements and Prerequisites
- Successful completion of BIOL 1210 (Principles of Biology or AP Biology) with a C or better
- Completed registration form with the Division of Nutrition at least one semester before graduation
- Must be good standing with the University of Utah (evidenced by official transcripts)
- Concurrent enrollment in BIOL 1210 and NUTR 1020 may be possible with special permission
Program Courses
All classes must be taken under "NUTR" to count towards fulfilling the minor requirements with the exception of the prerequisite. Classes taken under other disciplines (GNDR, HEDU, etc.) will not count towards the minor requirements.

- A grade of C or better is required in each individual program course.
*Nursing Majors may take any of the following to fulfil the Core Courses Requirement:
- NUTR 3010 and NUTR 4440

- NUTR 4440 and NUTR 1020
