Applying to the Program

Deadline

Each fall's undergraduate applications are due by the preceding March 1st.

(i.e., if you're applying for Fall 2010 admission, your deadline will be March 1, 2010).

Prior to Submitting an Application 

You must complete the following tasks prior to submitting an application:

  1. Apply and be admitted to the University of Utah via the main Admissions Office.
  2. Complete H EDU 1010, H EDU 3050, Writing 2010, and Math 1070 or 1040
    (note: the math requirement does not apply for the School track)
  3. Have your previous credits - transfer or otherwise - recorded on your official student record at The University of Utah.

Track Requirements 

In addition, if you are applying for the Community Track, you must also submit a 300-500 word, typed, double-spaced essay describing why you want to be a health education specialist.
