The "Comprehensive" Patient AssessmentWe are pleased to announce this new addition to our online courses. This class is designed to build upon an EMT's existing knowledge of the patient assessment. It is truly a comprehensive approach to the patient assessment and each lecture will build upon the next. There are a total of 8 lectures totaling 10 hours of Continuing Education. If you desire Registration please click here now. Course SpecificsEach student will review 8 lectures beginning with an introduction to the Trauma and Medical assessment and ending with a review of a "the differences" between the two assessments. Each section builds upon the prior section and therefore would benefit from completing the material in order. You will have the OPTION of taking a quiz after each most sections. The University of Utah recommends this, but these quizzes will not be graded. Incidently, each student can take these quizzes as often as s/he would like to. After completion of each of these sections, students will be prompted to take the Final Exam. In order to receive a Certificate of Completion you will need to obtain a score of 70% or higher on this final exam. Students will only be allowed two chances to take and pass this test.
