The
NREMT accepts distributive continuing education (Internet, video, audiotape,
etc.) that has received official approval through a state EMS office
and/or through the Continuing Education Coordinating Board of
Emergency Medical Services (CECBEMS). They DO NOT recognize our Online
DOT Refresher course but will accept continuing education as noted below.
NREMT-Basic:
May complete up to 10 hours of the SECTION 1-A requirements and may
complete up to 24 hours of the SECTION 2 requirements using online continuing
education.
NREMT-Intermediate:
May complete up to 10 hours of the SECTION 1-A requirements and may
complete up to 18 hours of the SECTION 2 requirements using online continuing
education.
NREMT-Paramedic:
May complete up to 10 hours of the SECTION 1-A requirements and may
complete up to 12 hours of the SECTION 2 requirements using online continuing
education.
