In the field of Emergency Medical Services (EMS), this education is a required number of hours that your State agency sets that must be completed per your Certification period. Each State is different in what they require. You may find out what your State requires under recertification testing.
Recertification testing provides a listing of each state's Continuing Medical Education requirements; most include the amount of credits needed per year and phone numbers where you may contact your State agency should you need additional information.

Your Certificate of Completion is available approximately 24-48 BUSINESS hours following completion and payment of the course; this allows for grading of the quizzes. It is kept on our server and can be viewed, downloaded and printed by eligible students with a current LoginID and password. This Certificate will be kept on our server for a period of no longer than one-year from the day the course was completed.
Your UserID and Password are delivered at the time of registration. Before you pay for the course, you are given a personal number -- such as 1722. Then after you have paid for the course, you are required to put this number in at which time you will receive a ID and Password for the courses you registered for. ALL UserID's and Passwords are case sensitive. Theletters "I" and "1" are avoided (when possible) is to minimize confusion; nor is the letter "O" used to avoid confusion with the number "0". Access to all quiz material is placed on hold until the University of Utah verifies your method of payment. You will however, be able to access ALL the course material. If, however, you don't receive access to the quizzes after two business days, click here.
First of all, be assured that if you took a quiz, this quiz was submitted if you "clicked" the submit button. In some cases, and with some browsers, students cannot immediately access the quiz material. Instead, they will need to close their browser and then click on the link from the HomePage "Get my Quiz Results." At that point, those students should be able to view the quiz you submitted to the University of Utah.
If nothing happens after you click on the Begin Quiz button then likely you have your "BLOCK POPUPS" button turned ON! Be sure this is clicked OFF i.e. allow your browser to accept popups. Also, make sure your broswer accepts Javascript. This is standard with nearly ALL browsers and defaults to the ON position. If you still have questions, don't hesitate to notify me here.

You can also opt to select the "Java console enabled" checkbox which will allow you to see any error messages that may be produced by the Microsoft VM. Alternatively, if you have the Sun version of Java then find the Java (Sun) entry in the list and check the "Use Java 2 v(version number) for <applet>" checkbox, this requires a restart of the browser, not the computer. If you do not see either of these option listed, then you do not have Java installed. Please refer to Cause #1 above. Netscape and Opera ship with Java but it needs to be explicitly selected for installation during the browser installation. Cause #3: Cause #4:
