What is SAC?Student Advisory Committees (SAC) are student groups established within departments to promote communication and interaction among students, faculty, and administrators.
Why SAC?
The Exercise and Sport Science SAC is established to provide students with more opportunities to offer input at the department level by participating in RPT (retention, promotion, and tenure) of faculty members, conduct surveys to the student populace, and have a chance to interact with the faculty at the monthly meetings, social and volunteer activities.
What do SAC members do?
* Evaluate faculty teaching for the Retention, Promotion, and Tenure (RPT) process.
* Promote academic and social activities within the Exercise and Sport Science classes and student body.
* Encourage collaboration with other student organizations.
* Help with the administration of the course evaluation process.
* Facilitate building community with in the Department and the University.
* Distribute information to Exercise and Sport Science students.
* Assist with planning the social functions for the Exercise and Sport Science Department.
