Physical Ed Teacher Education
The PETE curriculum is designed to help students meet the state requirements for teacher certification. Upon completion of the PETE curriculum, students will be qualified to apply to a state teacher certification program. Individuals who complete the PETE curriculum in ESS without teacher certification requirements will receive a Bachelor of Science degree but will not be able to obtain certification to teach physical education in public schools.
The application deadline for admittance to the ESS Education Program is November 1st. Applications will NOT be accepted after this deadline.
