Awards & Ceremonies
Each Spring, the Department hosts an Awards Ceremony fashioned after the Academy Awards. Costumes, music, food and frivolity are combined to make this a memorable event. In addition to having a great deal of fun, this festive gathering gives faculty the opportunity to honor excellent students in a variety of categories. Students also use this evening to honor respected teachers and mentors, highlight the actions of faculty in their classrooms and laboratories, and salute the acheivements of their peers.
