Prospective Students
We are pleased to learn that you are interested in our graduate programs in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology and would welcome your application.
We currently have approximately 120 undergraduate majors and 50 graduate students (including masters and doctoral). Our students hail from all corners of Utah, the United States, and the World. We believe that you will find our faculty and program to be of the highest academic quality.
Requirements for admission to our program are basically the same whether you are applying for admission to our Master’s (M.A. or M.S.) or Doctoral (Au.D. or Ph.D.) program.
If you are interested in pursuing a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology and have not had the necessary background at the undergraduate level, please be sure that you are aware of the requirements for admission as stated in our packet for non-matriculated students.
Our clinical training programs in both Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology are accredited by the Council of Academic Accreditation of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). The National Student Speech-Language-Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is very active in the Department, and we encourage all students to join.
