Background

Julie Wambaugh is an associate professor in the Department of Communication Disorders at the University of Utah.  She is also a Research Career Scientist with the VA Salt Lake City Healthcare System.  Her research and teaching interests are in the area of neurogenic speech and language disorders.  Dr. Wambaugh currently teaches courses in aphasia and motor speech disorders. Her research focuses on the examination of the effects of treatment for both apraxia of speech (AOS) and aphasia.
